For some people the lawn is the showpiece of their garden. For others, just a space to be kept under control. You may use it as a safe place for the kids to run around on, or where parents can too if they want!
We can lay a new lawn where things get off to the right start, or repair an old one that is in poor condition. We can improve the lawn with our feeds and our lawn maintenance program which includes aerating and scarification to help give the grass a chance to succeed.
Or you may prefer a specific grass seed mix to suit the demands of your garden. On commercial sites we can apply the same principles so that visitors to your premises get a good first impression of your company.
Key times in the lawn calendar:
April: apply a nitrogen based feed to stimulate healthy green growth and remove debris from the lawn by vigorous raking (scarification).
October: apply a potassium based feed to help rooting recovery over winter. Aerate (puncture the grass) to allow water to drain away, reducing moss and improving the structure of the turf.
With any lawn the key is the combination of a good quality turf or seed being laid on properly prepared ground, so if a new lawn is an option for you then we can start from scratch and do things properly to help the lawn look great.
Once established, weed and feeds can provide a much needed boost to a flagging lawn, helping it to look green and lush. With us there are no hidden costs. For instance, our maintenance package often includes any feeds, fertilisers etc. We spell out to you in advance what the inclusive price is and our monthly invoicing procedure lists clearly how the bill has been arrived at.
